Latvia is the central country of the Baltic States located in North Eastern Europe on the Baltic Sea Coast. It has been a sovereign state since 1918, but a national state of mind for centuries. A country that survived two World Wars and 50 years behind the Iron Curtain, and now is even more committed to the principles of freedom, democracy and international cooperation.

You are welcome to visit the heart of Latvia – Riga, which a hundred years ago was known as the “Paris of the North”. It is rich in history, culture and diverse entertainments. Visitors can admire buildings of remarkable Gothic, Baroque, Classicism and, of course, Art Nouveau architecture, which UNESCO considers to be unparalleled anywhere in the world.

Riga has a bustling night life offering endless opportunities to party. For this reason, Riga is called “The Second City that Never Sleeps” and “The Hottest City in the North”.

 Outside of Riga visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of Latvia, which is full of life and surprises – large natural forests, marshes with rare species, meadows, carefully protected national parks, vast network of free flowing rivers and thousands of lakes... as well as the Baltic Sea with white sand beaches, flowing dunes and stately pine forests stretching along of protected coastline.

 Visit a typical Latvian rural farmyard, where people live in harmony with nature's laws and rhythms. Today, an increasing number of Latvian farmers are opening their farms to tourists offering bed and breakfast services and a variety of leisure activities.
